Nikki Ezeani is a graduate of University of Maryland where she attained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (1999) and a master’s in nursing (Adult Nurse Practitioner 2005). She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Walden University (2016). She has over 28 years’ experience in Nursing as she started nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She is currently an entrepreneur and nursing educator. She is the owner/Medical director of Lomack Primary Care, Inc., and Compassionate Caregivers both in Maryland & Washington DC.

Ezeani brings expertise in adult and women health. She had practiced in hospitals, Nursing homes, Rehabilitation centers, dialysis center, Ventilator-dependent facility, and Hospice facility. She has authored/co-authored many research projects on diabetes, obesity, prostate cancer, hormone replacement therapy, and heart disease among women. Her recent research publication on “Guideline Use in Asthma Management for Primary Care Providers” has over a thousand downloads.

Ezeani is an active member of Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland (NPAM). She worked diligently with NPAM leaders & other legislative members to gain Nurse Practitioner Full Practice Authority Act of 2015 signed by Governor Larry Hogan. She serves as a mentor for new certified nurse practitioners under the Maryland board of nursing as a requirement for new NP applicants for certification after the FPA legislation repealed the attestation. She is a Preceptor for NP & DNP students locally and online programs.
